Gainesville FuN!

If you're visiting Gainesville for the first time, please visit these excitiing attactions:

The Devil's Millhoper
It's a big, giant hole in the ground! It's really neat, especially if you are into big, giant holes, or if you like climbing lots and lots of stairs.
Ichetucknee Springs
It's just outside Gainesville, and it's really nice way to spend a day tubing down the gentle current. Plus Steph almost died here! Weeeeee!
The Oaks Mall
Does your city have a mall? Ours does -- with a Burdines!
Downtown Gainesville
With it's vibrant night-life and non-stop (until 2am) action you'll kaplotz! You can catch a play or art film at the Hippodrome State Theatre (pictured right). Then have cake and coffee at Maude's Cafe (not the evil Starbucks next door). Go to Sidduhs, the only quickie mart that has wine-tasting and fine jewelry. Then visit one of the many happening night-spots, a bar, a club or poolhall - we have at least one of each.
